News Guyana Social: Arfina 'Lucy' (Baksh) Albrecht, APN
Albrecht (Baksh), Arfina "Lucy", APN Age 54, from Hoffman Estates, IL passed away on 23 April 2019, while surrounded by her father, siblings, nieces and nephews at the University of Minnesota Medical Center-East Bank. Arfina was born in Lancaster, Guyana SA on 15 August 1964 to Schowkatally and Ashna Baksh. Arfina came to live in the Minneapolis area in 1976 with her brothers and sisters Azad, Rafika, Ruby, Azeema, Shira, Fazira, Lenshina, and Shabaaz. Arfina was preceded in death by her mother Ashna, nieces Christina DelGuidice, Tiffany Lebahn, and Charmilla Baksh Berg. She is survived by her husband Howard Timothy Albrecht and their two children Michael 16 and Nicholas 10. Arfina receive a BS degree in Nursing at the University of Central Florida and a Masters in Advanced Practice Nursing at Olivet-Nazarene University. She lived in the Chicago area since 2003 and worked as a Nurse Practitioner. In her spare time, Arfina loved to read, cook and host social events with friends & family. Arfina's funeral services will be held for family and close friends on Monday 29 April 2019 11am at White Funeral Home in Burnsville, MN. She will be buried at Plaesantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Burnsville, along side her mother and niece. She will be greatly missed and loved forever. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Arfina's name to The Kidney Foundation and the Liver Foundation.
